About the Job
The Director of Title IV-E Child Welfare Scholars Program is responsible for oversight of the federally funded, state administered Title IV-E Child Welfare Training Program including program development & planning, implementation, budgeting, and staff supervision. The position administers the recruitment, retention, graduation and guidance of bachelor's and master's level child welfare scholars into professional work in a public or tribal child welfare agency. The Director develops, supervises, and coordinates specialized and intensive student programming and advising and provides leadership on behalf of University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) to a statewide Consortium of Title IV-E Universities in Minnesota.
