Overview Senior TM1 Planning and Analytics developer to manage the developments and improve the operational efficiency as per business requirements. This new role will: Handle end-to-end delivery of all technical projects. Coordinate with finance and finance systems team Owns day-to-day TM1 user requirements and delivery Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities Strategic Focus Oversee TM1 operations and facilitate the projects and development life cycle, ensuring smooth operations providing timely resolutions. Initiate and drive continuous improvement efforts for TM1 team Operational Management Design, develop, and maintain TM1/Planning Analytics cubes, dimensions, hierarchies, rules, and feeders. Build Turbo Integrator (TI) processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). Develop and optimize reports, dashboards, and input templates in PAW (Planning Analytics Workspace), Pax (Excel add-in), and Perspectives. Integrate TM1 with ERP systems, data warehouses, and other data sources. Utilize advanced SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis. Monitor system performance and optimize cube design, feeders, and rules for efficiency. Proactively identifying opportunities to improve data architecture, automation across reporting. Collaborate with finance and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Implement and manage user security, roles, and access controls. Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting in TM1 environments (cloud and/or on-premises). Ensure accuracy, data integrity, and reconciliation between TM1 models and source systems. Provide end-user training, documentation, and ongoing support Work with IT to quickly resolve database and hardware issues. Create system user guides, process documentation, and training materials. Governance & Risk Keep track of and report on TM1 Governance & Risk controls for access provisioning, change management, user access reviews, and audits Help review business processes and controls across different functions to find and implement solutions for better efficiency. Experience & Personal Attributes 7+ years in Business Intelligence / Financial Systems with at least 5 years of IBM TM1/ Planning Analytics development. Expertise in designing cubes, dimensions, rules, feeders, and Turbo Integrator processes. Advanced experience in SQL, Data lakes experience will be a plus Proficiency in Python programming for data processing, automation, TM1 REST API integration, automated testing, reconciliation and exception handling for TM1 processes. Experience with AI/ML techniques (time series forecasting, regression) to enhance predictive planning and financial modelling. Exposure to RPA (Robotic Process Automation) or advanced workflow automation. Leveraged libraries such as panda for advanced analytics. Proficiency with reporting/visualization tools (Planning & Analytics, Power BI, Tableau). Knowledge of ERP systems, with functional understanding of finance domain concepts (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow). Familiarity with data governance, security and performance optimisation. Personal Attributes Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
