***This position is physically located in the Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP***
Oversees the day-to-day execution of the vehicle maintenance shop. Leads a team of personnel as a working Supervisor. Ensures established policies and procedures are effectively enforced. Controls shop maintenance schedule to ensure maximum utilization of assigned personnel. Reviews work in progress and upon completion for conformance to standards and to ensure section maintains the highest standards of workmanship and quality. Supervise and perform daily equipment maintenance operations on the Kwajalein Atoll performing a full range of operator, organizational, direct support and limited general support equipment repairs on both wheeled and tracked vehicles. Analyzes malfunctions and repairs, rebuilds and maintains power equipment, such as, but not limited to cranes, manlifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, variable reach forklifts and platform grapplers.
