Job Description Job Description Responsible for performing manufacture, repair and maintenance to progressive dies and rebuild or repair tooling to support production. Perform die maintenance, using tool rom equipment and hand tools Layout and perform center drilling, reaming, lapping, tapping, countersinking and counter boring. Machine parts to blueprint specifications. Fabricate and/or repair dies for production. Layout existing die sections and make replacements as needed. Make in press repairs of tooling. Document and record various data for the department. Drive a hi-lo and operate crane to transport dies for maintenance or installation. Perform other duties as assigned.
