Job Description

The Tool & Die Technicians will maintain, rework, and fabricate dies and tools for production requirements, as well as perform changeovers. This is a 2nd or 3rd shift position.


  • Maintain existing dies and perform changeovers.

  • Ability to fabricate dies and tools and rework the same die for production requirements.

  • Interact between tool room, production, engineering, quality, and other departments.

  • Participates in Pre-Planning and design of new tooling, tool refurbishment, end of life tooling and capacity tooling as required.

  • Participate in tooling design and print review meetings and project overview meetings.

  • Planning and layout work according to models, blueprints, drawings or other written or oral specifications.

  • Understand the working properties of common methods and alloys.

  • Select appropriate materials, tools, and process required to complete a task.
