**Job Description**
This position will play a crucial role in supporting manufacturing operations by maintaining and repairing all tooling and related machinery in a Tier-1 automotive manufacturing facility. This position involves working with dies that weigh up to 100,000 lbs and requires expertise in grinding, welding, and machining.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform tear downs, cleaning, and both preventative and reactive maintenance on dies.
+ Transport dies using overhead cranes.
+ Complete daily, monthly, and yearly preventative maintenance schedules on dies.
+ Construct new tools and dies as needed.
+ Troubleshoot production problems and attain safety, quality, and productivity goals.
+ Modify dies to conform to engineering changes and conduct tryouts of new dies.
+ Work from blueprints, sketches, written, and verbal instructions.
