Tool Room Engineering Specialist

1. Cutting Tools -

• Ensure 100% availability of production resources, including cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, and measuring equipment.
• Maintain and accountability of cutting tools Inventory.
• Maintain and accountability of cutting tools consumption.
• Plan and ordered cutting tools according to consumption.
• Conduct cutting tools trial and validation

1. Tool Room(Fixture/Jig) –

• Plan & Execute the maintenance of fixture/Jig.
• Maintain the fixture parts Inventory
• Provided all the assembly fixture of production

1. Gauges/Instruments management –

• Plan and order the measuring Gauges/Instruments
• Accountability of measuring Gauges/Instruments
• Ensure the 100% calibration of measuring Gauges/Instruments.

1. Others(Productivity Improvements/Cost saving/New product development/Budget planning/Special Project) –
2. Introduce advance cutting tool/Tool concept for improve productivity/quality and reduction in tooling cost.
3. Provided new fixture/Tools/gauges for Implementation of ECN/ECR.

Qualifications

B Tech / BE - Mechanical

Having 3 - 5 years of experience

Knowledge of

1. Machining process
2. Cutting tools
3. Fixture design
4. Machining Parts programming
5. Cutting Parameter
6. Selection of Gauges/Instruments
7. Metal cutting Fluid
8. Tool Room function
9. Safety awareness to Associate, Safety Instruction and Documents
