Job Description
1. Responsible for tool planning to ensure Nil idle time of machines.
Prepare tool requirements based on the monthly production plan.
- Machine shop process knowledge
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- CNC Operations knowledge
- Good knowledge in cutting tools
- Anlaytical Ability
- Planning skills
Prepare purchase request for tools procurement and follow up necessary internal approvals.
Ensure the tools are avialable on time for production in adherence to the plan.
Identify alternate vendors/suppliers for tools cost reduction without affecting the Quality and process time.
Regular monitoring of the tools consumption and analyse the Cost Per Component.
Inspect all the machines on a daily basis to measure the health of tools.
Identify any defects or weak tools and arrange for the spares to avoid any further damage.
Co-ordinate with Engineering dept for queries/clarifications on new product tool requirements.
Ensure any abnormalities are escalted on time and appropriate corrective actions are taken.
2. Ensure Nil provisions of tools inventory.

- Working knowledge in SAP, MS Office
- Ability to work as a team
- Good Communication skills

Educational Qualification:
Diploma ( Tool & Die ) from NTTF
Experience:
5 to 10 Years
