Tooling Manager
Our Client a Global Automotive stamping and welding manufacturer is currently seeking a Tooling Manager
Overall Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Tool room in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
- Responsible for managing tool & die repair department
- Manage day to day tooling operations.
- Initiate problem solving and conduct root cause analysis.
- Implement Process & Tooling projects driven through new product development, product design changes and or process improvements.
- Gives direction on process types.
- Estimates costs for design and build
- Reviews/Revises quotations
- Defines project in regards to timing and performance costs
- Generates purchase requisitions for approval.
- Reviews engineering changes.
- Supports and gives direction to toolmakers in any aspect of tool building.
