Job Description

Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS) is seeking a Tooling Specialist IV at our aerospace manufacturing facility in the Fullerton, CA location.

Sets up and operates grinding equipment, including but not limited to, squaring, chamfering, buffing dies, Blohm grinders, Megerle flat dies, Megerle veri-lite, and any other type of grinder for production and experimental work orders. Operator will be held to established production and quality standards. Incumbent will have control to make minor adjustments to the process or machine after tasks are assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Read and execute tooling prints, work instructions, policies, sketches, and procedures.
  • Work accurately to meet precise tolerances of (+ - .001).
  • Maintain proper identification of parts and ensure accurate, reliable records are documented and maintained.
