Tooling Supervisor

Overview

As a Toolroom Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing stamping affairs related to the toolroom and quality. You will lead initiatives to reduce costs of poor quality (COPQ), improve equipment uptime, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive tooling improvements and new die design reviews.

What You Will Do

• Analyze quality data to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce COPQ.
• Use POEE metrics to diagnose and improve equipment downtime, collaborating with maintenance to enhance preventive maintenance and streamline changeovers.
• Develop, monitor, and optimize department budgets while identifying cost-saving opportunities without impacting quality.
• Work closely with planners to prioritize tasks and proactively manage production schedules to meet Customer Requested Dates (CRD).
