1. Manages employees by interviewing, hiring, training, and performance evaluations of tool room staff. 2. Implements and maintains procedures for: a. Mold storage procedures b. Preventative maintenance c. Preparing molds for configuration changeovers. d. 5S of tool room and mold storage. 3. Creates and maintains all tool shop related documentation for molds. 4. Coordinates with outside suppliers for repairs, replacement components, and engineering changes. 5. Evaluates and arranges resources to meet production demands. 6. Manages inventory levels and incoming inspection records of spare or new mold components. 7. Supports molding production, engineering and quality on continuous improvement projects. 8. Provides support for machining of fixtures, gauges, and replacement components for equipment required by the factory. 9. Hands on duties related to mold repair and maintenance. 10.
