Job Summary
The Topside Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design, engineering, and integration of mechanical systems and equipment on FPSO topsides modules, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. This role involves coordination across multiple disciplines including process, piping, structural, electrical, and instrumentation teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective mechanical designs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical engineering design, calculations, and equipment selection for topside systems (e.g., pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, rotating and static equipment).
Review and approve vendor documentation, data sheets, and mechanical drawings.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO, etc.) and meet project and client specifications.
