POSITION SUMMARY


We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to lead TQM-based KPI monitoring, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D problem solving, and other quality improvement initiatives within a virtual engineering technical support model. This role will support cross-regional teams (., Europe, North America, APAC) by driving quality excellence across product development, engineering services, and process improvement projects.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with work experience Exhaust Aftertreatment System.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Virtual Engineering, or Product Development Support.

  • Hands-on expertise in KPI development, RCA, 8D, and TQM tools/methodologies.

  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949.

  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Excel, .

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills in a virtual/global team setup.
  • Responsibilities:


    KPI Monitoring & TQM Support

  • Define, track, and report TQM-related KPIs (., defect rate, FTR, rework %, customer complaints).

  • Develop digital dashboards and tools for real-time KPI visualization across regions.

  • Coordinate with regional quality leaders to align on global KPI standards and thresholds.
  • RCA / 8D Problem Solving

  • Lead or facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and structured 8D problem-solving sessions for engineering- or quality-related issues.

  • Train and coach virtual teams in problem-solving methodologies.

  • Ensure timely closure and documentation of 8D reports with clear action tracking.
  • Virtual Engineering Quality Support

  • Provide virtual quality engineering support to global regions on design reviews, process adherence, DFMEA/PFMEA validations, etc.

  • Act as a quality SME to support virtual development teams in eliminating defects at source.

  • Maintain alignment with global engineering standards, quality gates, and release protocols.
  • Quality Systems & Initiatives

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with TQM principles.

  • Support digital transformation of quality processes (., automated defect tracking, Power BI/Excel analytics).

  • Collaborate with IT/Tech teams to enhance data connectivity and traceability in the quality system.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Engage with cross-functional stakeholders across geographies to ensure consistent quality culture.

  • Coordinate with regional customer quality teams to analyze feedback and reduce warranty/rework issues.

  • Prepare and present global dashboards to senior management during quality review forums.
