SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Tractor and Trailer Technician will be responsible for preventive maintenance and corrective repairs without supervision with a high degree of attention to detail.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Safely perform maintenance in accordance to required departmental processes, procedures, and documentation. Safely complete necessary preventive maintenance or repairs in an acceptable period to meet equipment schedule needs without supervision. Safely use any required shop or testing equipment to perform assigned job.
Safely perform general repairs with some supervision and perform preventive maintenance without supervision. Safely troubleshoot and repair electrical, air, cooling and ABS systems. Safely operate applicable vehicle alignment equipment. Properly diagnose electrical, suspension, ABS issues, air leaks, and other mechanical failures...
