Trade Assistant / Labourer

About the Role

We are seeking a physically capable Trade Assistant / Labourer to join a high‑output Undercarriage / Track Shop environment.

THIS IS HOT AND HEAVY WORK — NOT FOR EVERYONE.
This role is suited to candidates experienced in physically demanding industrial or workshop environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with assembly, disassembly, and refurbishment of undercarriage and track components
• General labouring and workshop support duties
• Operate tools and equipment under supervision (forklifts, cranes, power tools where licensed)
• Load, move, and prepare materials and components
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Participate in toolbox talks and follow all HSEQ procedures

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Trade Assistant or Labourer in an industrial or workshop environment
• Exposure to heavy equipment, mining services, or mechanical workshops preferred
• Forklift licence (LF) and crane ticket are highly regarded
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and safety focus
• Unlimited Working rights in Australia

What’s on Offer

• $40/hr for Skilled Trade Assistants
• Monday to Friday | 10 hours days
• Overtime and weekend work as required
• 6-8 week project workshop role with consistent hours
