About the role

In this role, you will:

  • Assist in preventative maintenance and repairs on off highway machinery.

  • Have a dedicated commitment to safety and quality assurance.

  • Handling materials, loading/unloading, and moving supplies to and from work areas.

  • Operate basic power tools and machinery.

  • Clean and prepare work areas, adhering to site guidelines.

  • Help identify equipment faults during servicing and rectify/ report to workshop/ management.

  • Able to work independently, and collaboratively within a team to accomplish assigned tasks.

    • About you

  • Previous experience as a Trade Assistant in a mining or workshop environment

  • Current Forklift, Crane, Dogging and Rigging tickets

  • Current Australian Drivers licence required

  • You will also need to possess a high regard for and practice health and safety at all times
