Trade Assistant/Internationally Qualified Electricians

CrewSELECT requires Internationally Qualified Electricians / Skilled Trade Assistants. 

Skilled Trade Assistants | Internationally qualified Electricians (20 required for ASAP start)

Hours:                  58 hours per week (M-F 6.30am – 5pm, Sat 6.30am – 3pm)

Pay Rate:            $40.00 per hour flat rate 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the tradespeople to assemble and wire electrical switch rooms.
• Assist the tradespeople to conduct testing, fault finding, and repair of electrical equipment.
• Assist the tradespeople perform electrical terminations, cable glanding, and control wiring.
• Read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Adhere to company and client safety procedures, including JHAs, permits, and risk assessments.
• Work collaboratively with other trades, contractors, and project teams.

Skills & Experience

• Current WA Electrical Licence or International equivalent or Proven experience working within a switch room environment 
• Experience in switch room and/or switchboard installation and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical standards, regulations, and safe work practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in cable terminations, control wiring, and power distribution systems.
• Experience in commissioning and testing of switchboards and LV systems.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
