Job Description
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and laws.
- Manage permits, licenses, and compliance requirements with relevant Mexican authorities.
- Ensure adherence to corporate foreign trade policies, regulations, and documentation standards.
- Oversee country-of-origin marking, labeling, and required import certifications.
- Administer IMMEX, PROSEC, Rule 8th, ECEX programs, and reconcile Annex 24 and Annex 31.
- Identify opportunities to reduce tariff costs and improve trade program benefits.
- Coordinate and audit customs brokers, freight forwarders, and courier partners.
- Supervise import/export operations for critical and time-sensitive materials.
- Lead internal, external, and government audits while managing trade compliance risks.
- Develop the trade compliance team, establish KPIs, and implement SOPs across sites.
