Do you enjoy building and construction of great projects in public spaces?

Artplusplay is a Perth-based playground designer and manufacturer working alongside leading artists and designers to create unique, imaginative and fun play experiences. Our work spans bespoke play equipment, sculptural pieces, parkour elements, urban furniture, shelters, bridges, decks, walkways and more.

Every day is different, with opportunities to work on projects that are unlike anything else and bring creativity to life in public spaces.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will contribute to the manufacturing and installation of our custom products, including:

• Onsite construction and installation of play and sculptural elements
• Carpentry and woodwork
• Formwork and steel fixing
• Steel assembly and erection
• Concrete works and general siteworks
• Rope and net manufacturing
• Pre-assembly and workshop preparation
• Assistance with deliveries, material pick-ups and running errands

It is not necessary that candidates have experience in all of the skillsets above, but we are seeking a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

• A trade qualification or strong hands on construction/fabrication experience
• Demonstrated skills across several of the relevant trade areas, or a strong willingness to learn and upskill
• A practical, solutions-focused mindset
• Physically fit and healthy
• The ability to think laterally, adapt quickly and work collaboratively
• A positive, proactive, “can do” attitude
