Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Traffic and Transport Planner with a Master's degree in Traffic and Transport Planning and specialized experience in sports-related building projects. The candidate will be responsible for traffic impact assessments, transport planning, and mobility solutions to support the planning, design, and operation of sports facilities and associated developments.
Educational Qualifications
Master's Degree in Traffic and Transport Planning from a recognized university
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years of overall professional experience in traffic and transport planning
Minimum 5 years of experience in sports-related building projects, such as stadiums, arenas, sports complexes, or large event venues
Key Responsibilities
Prepare Traffic Impact Assessments (TIA) and transport studies for sports-related developments
Analyze traffic demand during event and non-event scenarios
Develop access, circulation, parking, pedestrian, and public transport strategies
Coordinate transport planning with architects, civil engineers, urban planners, and authorities
Design and review road layouts, junction improvements, drop-off zones, and service access
Assess safety for vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, and persons with disabilities
Support approvals from local traffic and transport authorities
Review traffic management plans for construction and event operations
Provide recommendations for sustainable mobility and traffic mitigation measures
Prepare technical reports, drawings, and presentations for stakeholders and clients
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of traffic engineering principles and transport planning standards
Experience with traffic modeling and analysis tools (e.g., VISSIM, SIDRA, Synchro, VISUM, or similar)
Understanding of crowd movement and event-based traffic operations
Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines
Preferred Attributes
Experience with large-scale sports or event-driven developments
Knowledge of public transport integration and smart mobility solutions
Familiarity with local transport authority guidelines and approval processes
