The Traffic Engineer will specialize in designing and analyzing traffic signals, phasing, and timing, developing traffic control, pavement marking, and staging plans, and using Synchro, HCS, and AutoTurn. They will also prepare specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents while collaborating with project teams.
Responsibilities
+ Perform engineering and design for traffic signal sequencing, traffic analysis, traffic signal design, traffic phasing and timing, and traffic modeling.
+ Create engineering plans for traffic signals, pavement markings, traffic control, and construction staging plans.
+ Utilize engineering software programs including Synchro Studio, HCS (Highway Capacity Software), and AutoTurn.
+ Prepare contract documents, specifications, and construction cost estimates.
+ Collaborate with Project Manager and other design staff on projects.
