Are you an experienced and safety-conscious traffic marshall looking for a stable, long-term contract? We are currently recruiting for a professional to manage site logistics on a major commercial development in Appleby-in-Westmorland.
The Role and Responsibilities:
As the primary point of contact at the site entrance, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient flow of traffic. Your duties will include:
Gate Management: Controlling all vehicle access and egress, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the site.
Vehicle Banking: Safely directing HGVs, concrete wagons, and plant machinery using standard hand signals or radio communication.
Pedestrian Safety: Ensuring strict segregation between heavy vehicle movements and pedestrian walkways to protect site staff and the public.
Logistics Coordination: Liaising with the Site Manager to manage delivery schedules and prevent congestion on local roads.
