Trailer Service Technician - St. Cloud, MN
Closes 06-Sep-2024 (CST) per hour Based on experience Hourly Full Time Comprehensive benefits package Spee-Dee Delivery is looking for an individual who is responsible for servicing and maintaining our fleet trailers that are operated on a daily basis.
Hours and Wages:
Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM Paid OT at time and a half after 40 hours per week Starting wage: $$ per hour, based on experience Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to inspect trailers for compliance Ability to service ABS brakes Knowledge of drum and disc brake systems is preferred Knowledge of trailer wiring, lighting, greasing, brakes, and lift gate is preferred General maintenance on fleet trailers Other duties as assigned Experience and Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required Two years technical instruction in auto or diesel mechanics is preferred Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle or be willing to learn Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally Ability to pass a DOT physical exam Must be able to spend a minimum of eight hours on feet Work environment involves ability to bend, kneel, crouch, walk and drive Work environment may involve hazards such as diesel exhaust, brake dust, grease, antifreeze, and other elements associated with vehicle repair Benefits:
