Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Fresher to join our Business Development team. The role involves supporting business growth activities, conducting market research, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and assisting in client management for regulated and non regulated markets. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate to learn, grow, and build a strong foundation in Business Development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development Support
- Assist in exploring new customer segments and generating leads to support business expansion.
- Help prepare business cases, presentations, and proposals for prospective clients.
- Support the team in understanding client requirements and suggesting appropriate product solutions.
- Assist in identifying potential products/molecules suitable for business growth.
- Work closely with Regulatory and Project Management teams for data collection and coordination.
2. Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct basic competitive research using available tools and databases.
- Support tracking of market trends, pricing changes, and competitor activities.
- Assist in gathering information from primary and secondary research sources.
3. Sales & Client Coordination
- Maintain periodic communication with existing clients for updates and basic requirement gathering.
- Assist in preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports.
- Support documentation activities such as forms, requisitions, and internal submissions.
- Help draft and prepare basic agreements or addendums under guidance.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with internal teams for tasks related to shipments, product availability, or regulatory queries.
- Work with the supply chain/operations teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Schedule and assist in client calls/meetings for better communication and faster decision-making.
5. Payment Follow-up & Operational Tasks
- Support the tracking of client payments and follow-ups for pending dues.
- Coordinate with finance and costing teams for pricing-related information.
- Assist in monitoring monthly production plans and order priorities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Pharmacy, or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical mindset with basic understanding of market research.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work in a fast-paced environment.
