Work Timings: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Working Days: Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays)
Work Mode: Work from Office
Location: IIDE Corporate Office, 1st Floor, Dhanraj Mill Compound, Dhanlaxmi Industrial Estate, SJ Marg, Lower Parel, Maharashtra – 400013
Reports to: Manager – Sales
Duration: 6 - 12 Months Internship (Minimum 6 months to be eligible for LOR)

About the Role:

As a Trainee – Career Consultant, you’ll be the go-to person for students exploring their future in digital business and marketing. You’ll connect with ambitious learners, understand their goals, and guide them toward the right IIDE program. This role is perfect for students who love conversations, enjoy solving problems, and want real exposure to sales, counselling, and career guidance in a high-growth ed-tech environment.



What You’ll Do:

Student Counselling & Career Guidance:

○ Be the first point of contact for prospective students and help them navigate their career choices.
○ Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions to understand goals, interests, and aspirations.
○ Recommend the most suitable IIDE programs in a clear, confident, and relatable way.

Admissions & Conversions:
○ Convert student inquiries into successful enrollments through structured follow-ups.
○ Build trust with students and parents using a consultative, no-pressure approach.
○ Maintain accurate records and updates on leads using CRM tools.

Team Collaboration & Growth:
○ Work closely with admissions and marketing teams to achieve monthly targets.
○ Participate in training sessions to sharpen your communication and sales skills.

Additional Duties:
○ Support ongoing initiatives that enhance the student enrollment experience.
○ Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management, aligned with the broad scope of the position.






Requirements

Who You Are:

Must-Have:

○ BCom / BMS / BA student or recent graduate.
○ Strong communication and people skills – you enjoy talking and listening.
○ Comfortable interacting with students and parents over calls and meetings.
○ Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to follow structured processes.

Should Have:

○ Interest in sales, counselling, or career guidance.
○ Ability to stay organized and manage multiple conversations daily.
○ Positive attitude, confidence, and willingness to learn.

Nice to Have:

○ Basic understanding of sales or admissions (not mandatory).
○ Prior experience in customer interaction, counselling, or student engagement roles.
