Trainee Engineer

The Laptop Trainee Engineer will assist senior engineers in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and basic software issues in laptops and desktops. The role requires a strong willingness to learn, good communication skills, and the ability to follow technical instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in basic troubleshooting of laptop and desktop hardware issues (No Power, No Display, Keyboard, Touchpad, HDD/SSD, RAM issues, etc).
• Support senior engineers with part replacement such as battery, RAM, storage devices, display panels, motherboard components, etc
• Perform OS installation, driver updates, and basic software setup.
• Log cases accurately in the ticketing tool as per process.
• Maintain proper documentation of repairs, part usage, and system status.
• Coordinate with team leads for pending cases, escalations, and follow-up.
