Trainee Extrusion Technician

JOB TITLE: Trainee Extrusion Technician (Extrusion Technician after successful training)

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours

3 shift rotation of  06:00-14:00 / 22:00-06:00/ 14:00-22:00

The role requires supervision fault finding and smooth running of the extrusion lines. You are responsible for achieving the required production outputs through the most efficient utilisation of the available materials and the correct set up of the extrusion lines process.

• Correct removal and fitting of extrusion tools onto lines.
• Safely stripping and cleaning Extrusion tools.
• Preparing lines for startup with basic safety and operational checks being completed.
• Preparing and loading the correct materials onto line.
• Safe and correct start up and shutdown of lines with full fault identification and reporting.
