Job Brief
The Data Entry & Commercial Support Executive will be responsible for accurate data entry, product mapping, SLA updates, and supporting the commercial team in Purchase Order (PO) processing. The role requires close coordination with internal teams to ensure timely updates in support applications and smooth execution of commercial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry & System Updates
Perform accurate and timely data entry related to products, customers, and commercial transactions.
Update and maintain product mapping in internal systems and support applications.
Enter, update, and validate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in relevant tools.
Push updated data to designated support applications and ensure successful synchronization.
Conduct regular data checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
Purchase Order (PO) Processing Support
Assist the commercial team in PO creation, validation, and processing .
Verify PO details such as pricing, product codes, quantities, SLAs, and delivery terms.
Track PO status and coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
Support timely PO approvals and closures as per business processes.
Commercial Team Support
Act as a support function for the commercial team by handling operational and data-related tasks.
Prepare basic reports, trackers, and MIS related to POs, SLAs, and product mapping.
Respond to internal queries related to data, POs, and system entries.
Coordinate with sales, finance, supply chain, and operations teams as required.
Process Compliance & Improvement
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal compliance guidelines.
Identify data gaps, errors, or process inefficiencies and report them to supervisors.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to data handling and PO processes.

Requirements
Technical & Functional Skills
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of Purchase Order (PO) processes .
Proficiency in MS Excel (data entry, basic formulas, filters, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred
Behavioral & Soft Skills
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field (preferred).
0–6 months of experience in data entry, commercial operations, or PO processing support (experience level can be adjusted).
