Synergie Australia is seeking Trainee Operators for one of our trusted clients located at Henderson Western Australia, 6166.

The important parts:

• Our client is looking for candidate to work either day or nightshifts from Monday to Sunday 10 - 12 hour days!
• Confined Space allowance when completing confined space work – 1 unit per hour: $1.07
• Ongoing role for the right candidate

What you will be required to do:

Cleaning submarines and frigates is a specialized industrial work that goes beyond general cleaning.

Cleaning inside diesel tanks, ballast tanks, bilges, water tanks , and other confined or restricted areas onboard vessels.

Acting as a safety observer (sentry) for workers inside confined spaces, ensuring emergency protocols can be activated immediately.

Performing fire watch during or after hot works (welding, grinding) monitoring for sparks or ignition sources and being ready to respond to emergencies.

To be successful in the role you will:

• High Safety standard

Hold a C Class Driver’s Licence (Mandatory)

Hold a White Card (Mandatory)

Be able to obtain a clear National Police Check

Be physically fit and capable of working in tight, enclosed spaces

Have a strong work ethic and attention to safety

Be flexible to work both day and night shifts , including weekends

• Highly Regarded:
• Confined Space Entry (CSE) ticket – within the last 2 years
• Working at Heights (WAH) ticket – within the last 2 years
