Workforce Training Centre WA (WTCWA) is a registered training organisation (RTO #52729). We are a premier provider of training and education services based in Kewdale, Western Australia. As an integral part of the Linkforce enterprise, WTCWA delivers a comprehensive range of nationally recognised training and assessment programs exclusively for our internal workforce.
The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, skilled, and student‑centred Trainer and Assessor who is dedicated to creating outstanding learning experiences. You’ll be joining a supportive organisation that invests in your development and career pathways. As a Trainer and Assessor, you will:
- Deliver engaging, practical and compliant training
- Conduct assessment and provide constructive feedback to support learner outcomes
- Ensure delivery and assessment meet RTO and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement through feedback on delivery and materials
- Conduct Practical VOC Assessments & Refresher Training
- Use Student Management System Power Pro (training provided)
- Mentor and support candidates during the knowledge and practical assessment process
- Participate in internal audits, continuous improvement workshops, and professional development forums
- Facilitate accredited & non‑accredited courses covering:
- Work Safely at Heights
- Enter and work in a Confined Space
- Gas Test Atmospheres
About You
- Qualified Trainer and Assessor (see Training & Assessment Credentials)
- Minimum 2 years’ mining industry experience (required to deliver AQF Level2 units and above)
- High Risk Work and Mobile Plant licences (e.g. Forklift, Dogging, Rigging, Scaffolding, EWP, Telehandler, Crane) – desirable, not essential
- Experience delivering high‑risk or safety‑focused training, preferably within the mining sector (desirable)
