Overview:
The Training and Learning Systems Admin role holds “Super User” access to the LMS; it supports all technical requirements related to its configuration and use. The role encompasses LMS set-up, management, and administration, including IT support ticket management, data flow coordination between HRIS and LMS. Further responsibilities are for training / e-learning administration as well as learner administration globally, and global content management support to meet local business requirements.
The position holder proactively ensures seamless operations within Learning & Development, across global training stakeholders, and the HRIS ops team, contributing to maintaining system integrity, successful lobal training initiatives, related reporting, and user management.
Key Responsibilities:
- LMS Configuration and Administration: Proficiently handle LMS configuration, updates and changes, and day-to-day LMS administration, including catalogue management, user management, training content upload, and system configuration requirements.
- Support Ticket Management: Manage and resolve IT support tickets related to learning management, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Data Flow Coordination: Collaborate with HRIS and IT systems integration team to maintain accurate data flow between HRIS and LMS, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Content Management: Upload and organize internal (created by the business) and global external (from elearning providers) content within the LMS, ensuring effectiveness of catalogue structure and content validity, to support training management objectives.
- Training Support: Act as a technical point of contact for internal training creators, learning administrators, etc., addressing support requests and ensuring adherence to configuration conventions, LMS roles and rights concept, and best practices.
- Report Development: Create and maintain global training metrics and reports, e.g. for ESG Reporting, content usage, and learner statistics, and ad-hoc reports to support various business units, leveraging LMS data to provide actionable insights.
- Technical L&D Support: Assist in other technical tasks falling within the realm of Learning & Development related to LMS System Administration as necessary.
Preferred Requirements:
- Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Learning Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- At least 5 years of experience in global LMS administration (such as Success Factors, SABA), IT support, Share Point development, and system integration coordination.
- Strong understanding of IT systems and databases, particularly those related to integrations between HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and LMS systems, is valuable. This involves understanding APIs, data flows, and system integrations.
- Proficiency in content management systems and tools relevant to learning content upload and configuration
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently. • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on maintaining data accuracy and system integrity as well as Excel proficiency for data analytics.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English, enabling effective coordination with global teams.
- Exposure to project management skills
