Job Summary The Training & Placement Manager will lead and manage the institutions Training & Placement Cell, ensuring high-quality student employability outcomes. The role involves strategic planning, corporate relationship management, student skill development, and achieving placement targets through industry-aligned training programs. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and implement long-term strategies for student training, internships, and placements. Set annual placement targets and ensure achievement through structured planning. Align training programs with current industry requirements and emerging skill trends. Corporate Relations & Placements Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, recruiters, startups, and industry bodies. Organize campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and industry interactions. Negotiate placement offers, internship opportunities, and MoUs with companies. Track placement data, salary benchmarks, and employer feedback. Training & Skill Development Design and oversee employability training programs (technical, aptitude, soft skills, communication). Coordinate with internal faculty and external trainers for workshops and certification programs. Ensure students are industry-ready through mock interviews, resume building, and career guidance. Team & Operations Management Lead and mentor the Training & Placement team and student coordinators. Manage training schedules, placement calendars, and documentation. Ensure compliance with institutional and accreditation requirements (NAAC/NBA/AICTE). Student & Stakeholder Engagement Counsel students on career paths, higher education, and job readiness. Conduct orientation programs for students and parents related to placements. Collaborate with academic departments to integrate employability skills into curriculum. Reporting & Analytics Prepare placement reports, dashboards, and presentations for management. Analyze trends, gaps, and outcomes to continuously improve placement performance. Maintain accurate records of offers, recruiters, and student participation. Requirements Masters degree in Management, HR, Education, or a related field (MBA preferred). Minimum 10+ years of experience in training & placements, career services, or corporate HR. Proven track record of achieving strong placement results.
