Job Description
- Support the EMEA Transfer Pricing Manager in delivering transfer pricing and corporate tax compliance and advisory services to group entities across EMEA.
- Contribute to transfer pricing compliance for legal entities in the EMEA group companies.
- Prepare and manage transfer pricing documentation, including benchmark studies, economic analyses, and country-by-country (CbC) reporting notifications.
- Assist with transfer pricing advisory projects, including company, industry, and market research, and financial modelling for intercompany transactions.
- Support interactions headquarters tax team, including preparation of group CbC reports and assessment of transfer pricing risks.
- Act as a regional contact for routine transfer pricing matters and support tax process reviews, system testing, and tax risk assessments.
- Assist in managing tax audits and transfer pricing controversies in collaboration with local entities, the EMEA Head of Tax, and external advisors.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of tax controls, procedures, and reporting frameworks.
- Participate in finance, tax, and transfer pricing-related projects across the region.
- Support the CIT Manager (based in Poland) with CIT compliance and advisory work for branches in Poland, Switzerland, and South Africa.
- Assist with ad hoc tax projects, including Pillar 2 and R&D tax claims (primarily in the UK).
- Review and assess VAT matters across multiple EU and selected non-EU jurisdictions, with a focus on cross-border transactions.
- Prepare VAT returns, recapitulative statements, and Intrastat declarations for various EU countries.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, ATT, CTA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Strong practical experience in transfer pricing and VAT within a multinational environment, gained either in-house or in a tax consulting role.
- Solid understanding of transfer pricing methodologies, the arm's-length principle, business economics, and international tax concepts.
- Working knowledge of Corporate Income Tax; tax advisor qualification is an advantage.
- Experience conducting benchmark searches and economic analyses using relevant databases.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with SAP is desirable.
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
