About the role

As a Zone Substation Transformer Specialist Electrical Technician, you will play a key role in the construction, installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of Zone Substations and associated equipment. You will specialise in maintaining Power Transformers, including tap changer maintenance and diagnostic testing. The diagnostic testing performed on power transformers is intricate, requiring a high level of expertise to perform and interpret results accurately. This position involves interrogating and analysing systems, operating remote equipment, performing switching operations, and preparing detailed reports on network assets. You will also contribute to business strategies, planning, budgeting, and policy development while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. This role will be based in Dubbo, NSW.
