Job Description
Requirements: * At least eighteen (18) years of age. * Valid driver's
license with a clean driving record (record will be checked by
employer). * Pass background check, pre-employment, and random drug
screening (Checked by the employer). * Available to work flexible
schedule, including evenings, Saturdays, and short-notice fill-in
shifts. Preferences: * CDL endorsement and experience operating larger
vehicles. * Previous public transit experience. Job Duties: *
Communicate verbally, in writing, and interpersonally with a diverse
population, including the elderly and disabled. * Transport elderly,
persons with disabilities, and general public riders to a variety of
locations within the county, as well as areas outside of Wallowa County,
such as the Northeast Oregon Transportation hub in La Grande. *
Transport clients to medical appointments as needed. * Maintain records
on the number/type of passengers, miles driven, etc. * Responsible for
