    Responsibilities

    As Transloader/Forklift Operator at our Alberta Reload Logistics Division, you will:

  • Unload materials such as dry bulk products and larger industrial materials
  • Perform quantity and quality checks of materials
  • Operate low and high capacity forklifts
  • Operate a shunt truck
  • Assist with general yard clean up and maintenance.
  • Perform manual labour tasks and support operations.
  • Work in adherence to all safe work practices, procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements
  • Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of yard, shop, department, or work crew 
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager

  • Ability to demonstrate leadership in a team based environment
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and become highly efficient in all areas of our operation
  • Previous Lead Hand experience is an asset
  • Previous experience on forklifts is an asset
  • Previous experience on a shunt truck is an asset
  • Previous warehouse experience is an asset
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift 50lbs
  • Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
