Transmission Line Design QA Engineer

Location: Mesa, AZ- hybrid Length: 12-month initial contract Full time 40 hours/week 2 day per week attendance at office in East Mesa. 3 days per week work from home Engineering degree required (Civil, Structural, or Electrical preferred). Experience with overhead line design preferred. Experience with PLS-CADD preferred. PLS-CADD license will be provided. Ability to work in a team. Strong communication skills. Attend meetings with design, construction and external customers. Attend site visits. Roles and Responsibilities Design Reviews Understand the company's standards Complete company Transmission Line Design QA/QC checklists Review pole locations, pole types, framing callouts, heights, etc. Engineering review of encroachment or attachment requests to Transmission Line Assets PLS-CADD modeling and analysis
