Job Description

Acts as liaison in the EMS community by coordinating and supervising all EMS related educational programs for pre-hospital providers. Actively involved in the delivery of professional EMS outreach, pre-hospital run report quality assurance, protocol and policy development, and trauma development. Manages all fleet vehicles, maintenance, accidents and investigations. Works with quality/population health on community outreach. Responsible for building relationships with community influencers and gatekeepers to venues where WVU medicine can prospect and be a part of the solution to change at risk behaviors in the population.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Associate degree

OR

Completion ofONEof the following programs:

  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Program

  • Paramedic Program

  • Registered Nurse Program
