The  Transportation Analyst provides advanced analytical and operational support for end-to-end transportation processes within the LATAM region. This role ensures supply chain efficiency, compliance, risk mitigation, continuous improvement, and drives sustainability objectives by leveraging logistics systems expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and participation in strategic transportation projects


Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, monitor, and optimize inbound shipments to LATAM, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and operational KPIs.
  • Oversee and analyze exports from Brazil and Costa Rica manufacturing sites, ensuring optimization, and alignment with customer requirements.
  • Analyze logistics data, troubleshoot issues, and support process enhancements.
  • Investigate shipment delays, discrepancies, and nonconformities; lead root cause analysis, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards and performance reports to facilitate insight-driven decision making.
  • Support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for global freight forwarding partners, defining requirements, evaluating bids, and onboarding vendors.
  • Co-manage freight forwarder performance through comprehensive KPI tracking, reporting, and collaboration to ensure continuous improvement and service level compliance.
  • If requested, represent transportation operations in regional Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and global Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), presenting business updates, and making alignment with our freight partners.
  • Support sustainability initiatives in transportation, benchmark emissions, implement green logistics projects, and track progress against targets.
  • Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for carrier management, shipment documentation, and operational hand-offs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across customs, compliance, warehousing, manufacturing, quality, and logistics partners to resolve issues and support operational excellence.
  • Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement projects focusing on cost savings, process optimization and digitalization of logistics processes.


Additional Information

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
  • 3+ years’ experience in transportation, supply chain, or logistics; in the LATAM region.
  • Proficiency with SAP transportation/logistics modules and Transportation Management Systems (TMS); advanced Excel and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau) skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, process improvement
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Fluent English required; Spanish and/or Portuguese proficiency strongly preferred.
