Transportation Engineer

An industry leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Transportation Engineer for their Columbus team! Responsibilities: Design/develop various types of roadway/highway improvement projects Develop horizontal/vertical roadway/highway alignments, design modeling, and engineering calculations Perform all aspects of roadway/highway design (drainage design, maintenance of traffic, pavement marking/striping and signing) Prepare preliminary/detailed design plans, quantities, specifications, and construction cost estimates Use technical expertise for the development, evaluation, selection, and modification of standards engineering techniques/procedures Occasional client and sub-consultant communication Site visits periodically Assist with Request for Information during construction phase Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering 7+ years of experience PE License in Ohio or ability to obtain within six months Experience using AASHTO, ODOT Design Criteria, and FDOT Design Crite...
