Job Description
Purpose: Performs mission support, analysis and duties pertaining to transportation functional areas and ensures supporting requirements and implied tasks are accomplished. Responsible for all transportation movement associated with the mission. Directs and coordinates traffic activities (to include packing, freight terminal, freight consolidation, shipment planning/tracking, and transportation movements and reporting) by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities personally or through subordinate employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitors and reports transportation status of commodities to and from customers located worldwide. Transportation conveyances may include monitoring, coordinating and reporting shipments of goods by military or commercial air, Commercial Line Haul, Rail, or ocean-going vessel.
