Position SummaryÂ
The Trauma Call Coordinator (TCC) serves as a critical component within the Arkansas Trauma Communications Center (ATCC), providing real-time coordination between Emergency Medical Service (EMS) agencies and hospitals across the state. As the nationâs premier Trauma Coordination Center, this position assists to ensure patients are transported or transferred to the right facility, the first time, supporting optimal patient outcomes and system efficiency.Â
The TCC operates in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment, leveraging clinical expertise, situational awareness, and critical thinking skills to support trauma activation, interfacility transfer coordination, specialty resource allocation, and statewide trauma-system performance.Â
