Certified Surgical Technologist Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,423 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Cardiac/Vascular Operating Room Technology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years minimum License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Knowledge of aseptic technique - Experience with cardiac and vascular surgical cases - Familiarity with case cart and scrubbing Description: The CVOR Tech will be responsible for assisting in cardiac and vascular surgical procedures. Shifts mainly consist of day hours from 06:30 to 19:00, with some evening shifts from 11:00 to 23:30. Up to two weeks of a six-week schedule may include evening shifts. On-call duties are expected, with six calls per six-week schedule and one weekend or holiday shift during that time. The candidate may be required to float to general surgery if no cardiac cases are available. Candidates must have experience in handling the crash cart and working with robotic surgical systems. Knowledge and experience in various surgical specialties, including but not limited to general, orthopedic, and thoracic surgeries, are preferred. This role requires proficiency in aseptic techniques and familiarity with handling complex surgical cases. All personnel must have the flu vaccine.
