EP Tech / EP Lab Tech Location: Knoxville, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,711 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Electrophysiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Electrophysiology Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:30 - 15:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Diagnostic/Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab License: RCIS or RCES or ARRT RT (CI) preferred Certifications: BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA Must-Have: Experience in Diagnostic/Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab is required. Charting system experience required. Must have the ability to monitor and manage equipment during procedures. Description: This position requires the technician to assist in electrophysiology studies and various cardiac procedures. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and interventional catheterizations. The technician will also conduct arrhythmia inductions and cardiac mapping. Experience with pacemaker insertions and ablation procedures is necessary. The technician will be required to maintain sterile fields and assist during various diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. The position is Monday to Friday, with on-call duties required on weekday afternoons. Candidates must have strong skills in accurate monitoring and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for optimal patient care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in handling advanced cardiac devices and equipment. A commitment to maintaining inventory and equipment upkeep is required. Candidates should be prepared to provide care for adult patient populations. Any holidays or holiday week time off requests will not be accommodated. This job does not require travel for this specialty.
