EP Tech / EP Lab Tech Location: Knoxville, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,711 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Electrophysiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Electrophysiology Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Diagnostic/Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab License: RCIS or RCES or ARRT RT (CI) preferred Certifications: BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA Must-Have: Experience in the following areas: - Hybrid OR - ASD Closures - IABP Placement/Removal - Impella insertion - Right heart catheterization - Rotablader atherectomy - Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) - Ventricular Assist Device Insertion - Watchman - PACS - Circulate Procedures - Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure - Tilt Table Study - Inferior vena cavagram - Superior vena cavagram - Room circulator - Inventory maintenance - Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab - Electrophysiology (EP) Lab - Interventional Cardiac Cath lab - Cardiac Implant Closure Device - Cardiac Stent Placement - Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult) - Hemodynamic monitoring - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Left heart catheterization - Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) - Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) - Permanent Pacemaker Insertion (PPI) - Scrub Procedures - Temporary Pacemaker - Arrhythmia Induction - Baseline Measurements - Cardiac Ablation - Cardiac Mapping - Cardioversion - Conduction Studies - Electrophysiology Evaluation - Insertion/Programming of AICDs - Pacemaker Insertion - Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography - Fluoroscopy - Accurate monitoring - Equipment setup - EKG lead placement - Access site preparation - Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias - Sterile technique - Equipment maintenance - Supply stocking Description: Manager will conduct interviews before any offers are made. No weekends or overnight call required. On-call only during weekdays from 5 PM to 11 PM for additional cases. Holiday time off requests will not be accommodated. Experience in clinical settings with adult patients is preferred. Candidates must have travel experience. Cerner experience is preferred but not required. Floating will be in accordance with policies and will include appropriate orientation. Compliance with the Joint Commission's standards is mandatory.
