Key duties include using booking software (like Sabre, Amadeus), managing expenses, ensuring policy adherence, and providing seamless travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Itinerary Planning & Booking: Developing customized travel plans, booking flights, cars, hotels, and activities.
Vendor Management: Negotiating rates with airlines, hotels, and suppliers to secure best deals.
Customer Service: Acting as a contact point for travelers, assisting with changes, cancellations, and emergencies.
Policy & Compliance: Ensuring all arrangements align with company travel policies and budgets.
Expense & Reporting: Monitoring travel expenses, processing bills, and preparing reports.
Documentation: Handling visas and ensuring all necessary travel documents are in order.
Market Knowledge: Staying current on destinations, trends, and regulations.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in travel, hospitality, or corporate travel.
Software: Proficiency in GDS (Global Distribution Systems) like Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo, and MS Office.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Education: Often a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
