Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 9 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position There is a separate bill rate for local candidates Expertise with blood/lab draws and venipuncture - will draw 1-5 tubes from each patient. The clinic sees 100 patients a day Location: 18133 Ventura Blvd, Tarzana, CA 91356 Float Locations: 12660 Riverside Dr, No. Hollywood, CA 91607 5525 Etiwanda Ave, Tarzana, CA 91356 5411Etiwanda Ave, Tarzana, CA 91356 Required Qualifications: HSD/GED BLS (AHA or ARC) Flu Vaccinated (No exemptions/No declinations) Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program Demonstrated ability to prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature, and reporting patient history summaries Experience with CS-Link/Epic 2 years working as an MA in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting Job Duties: Greet patients, take appropriate vital signs, review current meds and record in medical record Assist with tracking and monitoring department specific data Explain policies, procedures, or services to patients based on scope of practice Set up exam/procedure rooms appropriate to the patient visit needs Clean and re-process equipment and supplies following department guidelines Administer immunizations, injections, or oral medications as directed by provider Draw and prepare designated lab work or specimens as directed by provider NOTE: These statements describe the primary duties and responsibilities of the job and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all tasks.
