MRI Tech Location: Columbia, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,726 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid (15:00 - 23:00) Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years overall experience and 1 year in the specialty unless stated otherwise License: Required License in hand at the time of application Certifications: ARRT MR*, ARRT R*, BLS* Must-Have: Level I Trauma experience, Previous travel experience, Siemens, McKesson, and Cerner experience Description: This position requires Level I trauma experience. Previous travel experience is accepted. Candidates with 2 years of Level I trauma experience may apply as first-time travelers. Experience with Siemens, McKesson, and Cerner is necessary. Candidates should have Adult ICU, Pediatrics, and Adult Acute Care experience for one year. BLS certification and ARRT or ARMRIT certification are mandatory. Physical demands include ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing over 20 lbs. The role involves routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is within a health care facility operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rotating shifts, availability on holidays, and work during inclement weather are required. Essential job functions include the ability to work at the assigned work location throughout the contract term. Candidates must be able to work the majority of the assigned shift, take call, and work assigned weekends. Workers should be prepared to work at least 50 percent of the holidays that occur during the contract. Daily patient demographics include Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics. The average patient volume is approximately one patient per hour in a 24/7 department. Support teams available include IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Lift Teams, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation. Special patient diagnoses include Level 1 Trauma, ER, and ICU cases. Floating may be required and is applicable to various units as necessary in accordance to guidelines.
