MRI Tech Location: San Francisco, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,927 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience required License: CA License required Certifications: BLS, ARRT MR, ARMRIT Must-Have: - Venipuncture experience - BLS certification Description: Competently performs routine and specialized Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures. Produces quality images for physicians and other health care providers. Aids in the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. Will float across multiple campuses. Requires availability to work mostly weekends. Hours will be variable with start times ranging between 7 AM to 10:30 AM. Requirements: - Must have venipuncture and BLS certifications. - Minimum of 3 years experience required. - ARMRIT or ARRT certification is mandatory. - ARRT MR certification is required. - Valid state license is required. Skills: - Proficient in various MRI procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, and cardiac imaging. - Knowledgeable in managing radiation safety. - Familiarity with preparing and administering contrast media. - Competent in starting peripheral IVs. - Experience with multiple imaging techniques, such as diffusion and spin echo images. Additional Information: May float to other locations if census is low on the home unit. Must adhere to specific compliance policies related to background checks. Travelers may need to complete modules that are non-billable during orientation. Modules vary by specialty and are recorded through e-learning.
